20 Minute Treadmill Fat Burner

Here is a quick 20 minute bum blasting workout that I've been doing every morning that makes you sweat your arse off that doesn't have you going to fast (because if any of you are like me I can't walk too fast on the treadmill I have a very short stride) and I just tape it right to the top of the treadmill as an easy little guide. I have a treadmill in my home but I suppose you could take it with you to the gym or memorize it. Its really good.

Hi to my oldtime friends here...Hi to the newcomers I'm an oldtimer just haven't been around lately.

Minutes SPEED Incline %

00-5:00 4MPH 3-3.5
5:00-7:00 4MPH 8-10
7:00-8:00 4MPH 4-6
8:00-10:00 4MPH 10
10:00-11:00 4MPH 5-7
11:00-13:00 4MPH 12
13:00-14:00 4MPH 10
14:00-15:00 4MPH 12
15:00-20:00 4MPH 2-4

I always try to stay on the high end range of the incline percentage so I am getting a better burn rate. But I'll tell you I know its only 20 minutes (because really thats all I can manage at 5:30 am) you work HARD in those 20 mins.

I have been but last week we had a family tragedy so I couldn't do anything last week so I am hoping this week to get back into it. Being off it for an entire week SUCKS!

I have been doing 3.5 mph because I too have a short stride, but I think I will be able to work up to 4 mph eventually once my stamina gets better. They have 4 mph as the speed but I do 3.5 but I find that a lot of the times when I am going at a good clip it goes up to 3.8 a lot so I know I can go faster when I am not paying attention to it, so I think given time I can build it up to 4 mph.

Its a great workout. Fitness magazine does these every so often, I have another one I posted not too long ago from Fitness that was more of a running one for those that like to run. THis one is perfect for me because I don't run on the treadmill, I just walk. I tried to put spaces in between but for some reason it came out all pushed together grrrrr. I love this in the morning because I just don't have the energy to do more than 20 mins in the morning at 5:30 am. LOL and then in the afternoon I do my 45 min workout Slim in 6.

Oh and I forgot to tell you the best news in that short 20 mins you blast away 150 calories.

Is this supposed to be a run or walk? At 4mph, for me, that's a jog/run. lol. Short short legs. I think I may try this, after I get my cardio up some.

A fast walk. I do 3.5 mph right now because 4 mph is too fast for me as well. Because I have short little legs as you know. lol

lol. okay. but you do realize, you're short little legs, are still longer than mine, right? lol. i'll try 3-3.5 after a few walking sessions. or maybe do that instead of running, although i do need to train. :(

Well you could run if you want too, I don't run because I would knock myself out with my big guns.
