Ladies, we all have busy lives, and we're doing the best we can to fit it ALL in, but are we remembering to soothe ourselves?

I'm posting a couple of articles to go along with this weeks question, one is on the Art of Relaxation and the other is tips on how to

1. How do you handle stress? I handle it okay. I kind of act as if I handle it better than I am then end up

You know I did a quiz this morning on stress Gretchen, and it said that I too act as if I'm handling stress a lot better than I actually am! (I just don't like letting everyone know my business and personal thoughts I think!)

1. How do you handle stress?
On the outside (like to other people) I think I "carry of off" quite well. However....I carry most of my stress in my shoulders and neck!! When I feel completely tight I go and get a much needed massage :-)

2. What's the best way for you to unwind?
For me it's probably going out for a few beers with friends. I'm not home thinking of work etc...., just out relaxing and enjoying good company.

3. What are you going to do to relax this week?
I'm going to get a massage and swim in the ocean!

1. How do you handle stress? Not too well, I'm afraid. I do exercise and try to eat right, need to get back at that a bit more seriously, but I am concerned that the one area that will get to me is my inability to successfully difuse the stress in my life.

2. What's the best way for you to unwind? Exercise is really a stress release that I enjoy. DH is going to be good for that too, like on Saturday, when we came home from breakfast and shopping and just lied on the bed for about an hour before my martial arts class. He read and I watched world cup game. He helped me to see I need to take more one hour breaks like that.

3. What are you going to do to relax this week? I'm going to work more on our wedding pictures and honeymoon/vacation pictures for my photo album, started it yesterday.

You see that's what I meant with this question......I know we've discussed carving out some time for exercising, but we also need to just have some down time too- just for yourself. Watching some World Cup, while lying to a new DH, is perfect ;-)

Have fun putting the wedding/vacation album together!

Miranda, I hope you manage to get to a Yoga class sometime this week, I don't think any of us want to handle any vegetables on the board, lol!!

Gretchen, I love this author- and of course....she's Irish!!! This was her first book, I've actually just read her biography online, quite interesting. The humor in her books is rather dry- the kind I really like, lol!

Get reading, and laughing!!!
