Recently we've seen a number of our posters not seeing any results. Not only can this be disappointing but also very frustrating.

One thing we know about plateaus is that most of us experience them! (See.....you're not alone!)

Presenting our *SPECIAL* One Week
Switch-a-Roo Challenge

Things to do this week

  • Do one new workout/exercise

  • Cut back on something (ie. butter)

  • Ensure you have fresh fruit & veggies

1. What workout/exercise are you going to try this week?

2. What are you going to cut back on?

3. What's your favorite fruit

Only chips I have had are Lay's Light Chips. So far only one serving which is just 75 calories. So doing better than a 4 oz bag of Fritos, I think over 400 calories.

Did find my lost pedometer in the laundry, of course, I've discovered I'm losing it while bathing, dressing, or general struggles with my 2 year old so for now I'm going to set it aside when working with her. lol

-- you know I had a discussion with a friend of mine last night on Blizzards, you see I've never had one. I just figured that they were ice-cream, with some toppings if wanted. But no....I've been enlightened now, boy he went into detail, and if we had a DQ (is that where they're from?) down here I'm sure his addiction to them would be just as strong as yours ;-)

I haven't done that yet. I did yoga last night after my cardio. I need to do that tonight. As far as making the exercises easier, not most, except push ups, which isn't really Pilates, but it does help to focus on the abs correctly, for me anyway. This DVD has exercises where you sort of do crunches holding the ball, then do them with it between your (bent) knees. I think I breath and pull in my naval and all that correctly, but I can really feel them working when holding the ball for some reason.

As for the sweets, DH gave me a piece of Godiva the other night, but that's all I've had. How can one refuse Godiva.

Great job on curbing that chip craving this week Gretchen, and glad to hear you found the pedometer. I only hope it didn't go into the laundry??

Lorie, I've done both sit-ups and push-ups on the ball and have found them both easier to do. Though with the sit-ups I just do them sitting on the ball. I have tried the one between my legs too-- that is tough to do! I think the ball really does help with focus, after all you don't want to fall off the thing, right?

-and I agree.....you can't refuse Godiva!!!

I'm going to try to rollerblade tomorrow when the kiddies are riding bikes. I bought blueberries today but no sweet potatoes. I have asparagus though and it's been awhile since I had some. Having a hard time with the sugar as usual! It's pms week so anything goes!
