Easy to gain, hard to lose

So, I had a weekend full of fun! and eating! and drinking!

I totally overdid everything, and had a great time doing it. And just 'un-did' all of the efforts from the last 3 weeks in one weekend. The few pounds I had lost over the past 3 weeks are back and then some.

How can it take 3 weeks to lose so few pounds, and 1 weekend to put it all back and more?

It's very wrong. It should take twice as long to gain weight as to lose it! :-)

Back to the gym tonight - with a personal training session. I'll never admit to him my awful weekend, but I'm sure he'll kick my a$$ with the training anyway - and I deserve it!

I mean, the title says it all, so very true, and so very unfair.

Good for you for getting back

It is very wrong....sinfully wrong- but alas true!!

Good for you for getting right back onto the wagon and going to the gym for a training session. Hope he's not too hard on you ;-)

It is a universal truth - A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips! LOL

Glad you at least enjoyed it - and are willing to put the work in to get rid of those pesky pounds!

And Gretchen - glad you asked, I'm a little curious too about this personal trainer . . .

Umm... he's got a "good personality" - -I think that about sums it up. :-) I think he may be gay and not know it (he's getting married in a month). But he does seem to be able to work me to the point that my arms are inches from falling off, and then stops. Somehow he knows just exactly how much I can take, so it's really good for me. But no, not at all attractive, unfortunately (or maybe that's good so I don't end up too distracted). :-)

But thanks for asking - you gals crack me up!

You're right Tonya, you don't need a huge disitraction while working out.

LOL - EXACTLY! I think the key to any really good trainer is to pick one that you don't care what you look like in front of. :-)
