Newbie here, saying HI !!

Hi everybody. I'm new here. I have a good bit of weight to lose. Not sure how much I want to weigh in the end. I want to see how I feel more then how I look. Anyway, I have been changing my eating habits and getting some exercise (walking, water aerobics) as much as possible right now. I have lost 7-9 lbs. so far.(depending on how mean or nice my scale wants to be! LOL) I feel better already, no heartburn anymore, more energy etc.. It's amazing what a few changes can do. My job consists of getting up at 3:20 A.M. and sitting at a desk 9 hours a day. Needless to say, that hasn't done a body good. My hubby and I are finally taking a much needed vacation to Hawaii in about 6 weeks. and a cruise once we get there. I am so excited. It was the motivation I needed to get started (again) on this weightloss journey. I am looking forward to getting back into fighting shape and hopefully getting assistance from all of you to help make this happen. Thanks and good luck everyone!

Thanks! I like to snack too, especially at my desk at work all day. I don't know why, I think it's mainly out of boredom. I just learned to budget it into my day and try to plan what to have and have it handy. Since I am trying to eat small amounts every couple hours it works out pretty good for me. Sometimes I can't wait a couple hours to have it though, but I still manage to keep to my limit most days. Anyway, good luck and keep up the good fight! LOL.
