What can you all tell me about this?

Slim in 6 has a 2 day fast but you need to use there products etc.

So I was curious about something I could do with what I have around the house or easily get at minimal expense.

Hey Gretchen, is it an actual fast with no food at all, or just a flush or detox diet?

I'm not terribly sure of any thing, however, I think it would be along the "cleansing regimen" type thing.

Hey Gretchen, I found an old post about a cleansing diet that I got from my yoga instructor as well as an accompanying article on detox diets:

So this is what I got from my yoga class last week.

That sounds doable. Even if I didn't follow it to the letter would still be good at getting the crap and cravings out of my system as well as shrink my stomach up a little so doesn't take so much to fill me

I would buy that two day juice diet "the hollywood" diet it doesn't taste bad, The slim in six one doesn't fill you up at all, I would do the holly wood diet one you can buy at target it cvs or something. Anyhow, it's pretty easy to do doesn't take much effort but i find it hard to do on the weekends because I get bored and want to eat, I find it easier to do at work because I'm busy all day and just sipping on the juice is fine.

Smile,

Deirdre

Your right it probably would be easier during the week I hadn't thought of that. I'll check out target this weekend. Thanks!

No not really I guess. I looked up the hollywood diet it stuff and it's just to pricey. I am trying to signaficantly reduce my calories for the first 2 days. Ha! We shall see how I do with that. But really want to try to get rid of those carb cravings. Right now my biggest problem will be my eating. Lately I've been in the mood to snack all day. *sigh* Doing okay so far today though. Still will probably end up with 1200 + calroies for the day. Haven't planned dinner yet. I guess I should start thinking about it. Might prevent some bad choices later.

Gretchen,
How much weight are you wanting to lose? My goal (I know it won't happen in six weeks) I think is to lose about 30 pounds or 35 if I get on a role. :)

Around 15. I think I could do it in 6 weeks if I stick to the plan. A little over 2 lbs. a week. I can't remember the last time I lost 2 lbs. in a week. lol I'd be happy if I could just take some inches off my middle. I carry all my weight in my upper body the "apple" shape type thing. Not looking for six pack abs or anything like that just a more well proportioned shape.
