It is different now, that's for sure. Even with the wedding coming up, I spent so much time getting ready for the May 5k. I would come home from work and go run. It was a good time of year for that, too, though. The weather was still cool in the evenings for the most part.
Now, I feel like I shouldn't devote so much time to exercise in the evenings so I can spend some time with DH and, since we both work full time, there are things to do around the house. It's amazing how much different to keep a whole house clean than my little apartments.
I still workout about six days a week, but not as much. I have run about once a week, twice actually last week, so I won't be nearly as ready for this 5k I don't think. I should go to HKD classes early to practice, but I've been getting there just in time to change and get onto the training floor.
The heat has been an issue this week, even in the morning, but I have found that if I get up early, I can do my cardio, running or walking or whatever, and get that out of the way. That way I have a lot more time in the evenings. I can do a short weights or Pilates workout and still have most of the evening left.
The big thing is eating. DH cooks, a lot, and he's a good cook. Fortunately Block's is open now so we have lots of fresh fruit and veggies in the place right now. He asked me one night last week what I wanted for dessert. I told him I don't have dessert every night. I just can't do that. But there's ice cream in the house, Godiva in the house, chips, stuff I never kept in my house. I dont really love chips, so that's not too much of
