I'm new here & looking to loose some weight that some how seems to be sneaking on.

Hi Amy, nice to meet you! This is a great board to find hints and tips to get you started and help you find out what will work for you.


I believe our two CLs are out and about with vacation station but I'm sure they will give you a proper welcome as soon as they have a moment! I believe there is a "Welcome Wagon" post further down the board.


My family sometimes eats late too. Hard to avoid for a lot of us. What I do if we eat late is I avoid potatoes and white breads if possible the later I eat the lighter the meal needs to be. I usually have healthy snacks at work and will sometimes eat a late afternoon snack to tied me over till dinner. If I get to hungry I then will start eating whatever I get my hands on. lol

Hi and welcome!


I know what you mean about eating late. My schedule is such right now that I go to bed very late and get up late in the day. So I'm always hungry late at night. If I'm too hungry I can't sleep. Still I try not to eat anything a couple hours before bed.
