My hypnosis story....continued

For those that were curious or interested......here's a continuation of my story.

I contacted a different company to find out more about their program, etc. Well, first off, it's over half the price. Secondly, they use three other things besides hypnosis to help you with your weight loss/goals. I liked that. It's more or less behavior modification. Thirdly it's got a lifetime guarantee.....

I have an appointment set for next Saturday at 11am. I have to drive about 60 miles to get there, but alas, I figured it's worth it. I hate driving up to LA, but at least it's in Beverly Hills, right? lol

Here's the deal. For this program, you don't have to go back every week, it's once a month or so. You learn how to do self-hypnosis, and of course, get the lovely cd's to listen to, to reinforce what they do for you. The lifetime guarantee isn't that you'll never gain weight for a lifetime (no

I can't imagine it changing your personality! I'm sure you'll still be the same old Cher but will have a different attitude towards food and fitness. I'm not sure how K sees you not wanting to have burger ever again is such a big deal maybe I misunderstood what you meant. I'm sure you won't force him to change his eating habits just your own. Is he worried you'll become a food Nazi or something. lol

Cher, this one sounds so much better, not only for the money side of it, but the fact that it covers things other than just hypnosis. And I love that they will talk to K too.

Best Wishes, hope it works for you :-)

Him thinking me not wanting cheeseburgers, well, it makes sense. Cheeseburgers are my fav food. I love them. Love everythign about them. I even have levels of burgers, esp if you ask me which is my fav. i.e. fast food, one-step up, restaurant, etc. lol. Depends.

So, if i never want a

lol, afraid it's just something I don't get. It's all relative I suppose and how we identify certain things about ourselves and others.

Exactly. He relates burgers to me. Heck, I'd relate ice cream and chocolate to him.

I saw your post, but work got in the way of my personal life again (hate it when that happens); I finally got to read it. This program you have described sounds like a pretty good fit. The price is better of course, but the fact that they are willing to talk to your husband as well about what this will be like is a good sign.

I hope it goes well for you.

Oh, BTW, I would encourage you to make peace with the boneless, skinless chicken breasts. They are so versatile; they take on whatever flavors you add to them, lemon/pepper, something spicy like jerk or blackening seasonings, or a tomato/Italian flavor in a dish with wheat blend pasta and fresh garlic, tomatoes, bell pepper, mushrooms and fresh basil (add some red pepper flakes to that for spice too). They're not so bad, really, LOL. I also love cheeseburgers. I have one every once in a while, especially if DH grills burgers. I like pepper jack cheese. Or the killer cheddar and bacon. Or mushroom and Swiss once in a great while.

Anyway, good luck to you with your upcoming appointment. I hope it works out well.

Cher that sounds like a much better deal, I think the fact that they deal with your problems on a number of different levels, as well as talking to K is wonderful.

I almost bust out laughing about "making peace with the chicken". Ohmigod. too funny. For me, it was mostly because I like dark meat, so white was always "dry". I'm not saying it always is as you're right, I have had a lot of really good dishes. I just need to learn how to cook it properly. :)
