Unfortunately mine was one of the 5-6 hour votes :-(

Typically, by the time I get the kids to bed, exercise, clean the kitchen, make lunches, prep dinner for the next day and hit the shower it's darn near midnight.

Then on the mornings that I do a morning workout I have to be back up by 5:15 to get my workout in, get me and the kids dressed and out the door by 7:25!

Truly wish I could be one of those 7-8 hour/night gals!

I was the lone vote for more than 8 hours! That's because I'm in grad school and my schedule this summer has been really erratic and slow. Actually, getting too much sleep is not a good thing either. I go back and forth between being an insomniac and sleeping too much. Back to school next week though! I'll get back on an even keel, hopefully.

I agree Carrie, there can be such a thing as too much sleep. Sometimes when I get a really long night of sleep I feel worse the next morning that if I got less sleep than usual. Strange.

I usually get between 6-7hrs, and that seems plenty for me. Last night however I got just over 8hrs!!!

I voted for 7 - 8 and this is truly my aim each night. I like to be head towards sleep by 10 but sometimes a movie keeps me up later. Will change a little when school starts but I've been practicing my evening routine for a couple of weeks now.

Like to get the baby headed for bed around 8:30 then have out by 9:30. Then I can read a little and go to sleep myself.

I'm the same way. I head to bed at 10, but then watch a little t.v. and don't fall asleep until around 11 or so. But I find if I get any more than 7 hours I actually feel worse.

I picked 6-7, but honestly I'm pretty close to 7 every night.

Guess I am lucky!
7-8 hrs here. DS has been "trained" to sleep until 8am and DH and I take turns waking up in the am. We both work from home, so it works great!
