I know a few of us suffer from allergy attacks now and then, and I got this newsletter from RealAge and though it was worth sharing.....
Why Are You Sneezing?
Most people think that fall means a gradual end to allergy season as they begin to spend less time outdoors around plants and trees that produce pollen. This may be true for some people, but for many people, allergies continue in the fall -- and beyond.
If you have seasonal nasal allergy symptoms -- such as a sneezing and runny, congested, itchy nose -- and they don't stop when summer ends, it's possible you have year-round allergies.
Which Type of Allergy Do You Have?
The first step in controlling your allergy is to figure out what type you have. Which statement best describes your symptoms?
A. My allergy symptoms come and go depending on the time of year.
B. My allergy symptoms are present year-round.
If you answered A, you may have seasonal allergic rhinitis. This is an allergy that occurs during a specific season or seasons, when the allergen you are sensitive to is most present in the air.

If you answered B, you may have perennial allergic rhinitis. This means that your nasal allergy symptoms occur year-round and probably are the result of allergens that are always present, either in your home or outdoors.
It's important to determine which type of allergy you have, so keep a log of your symptoms and take the information to your healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

Thanks IG - I know my allergies have actually gotten a bit better over the years, but others I know have been stricken horribly with them.
