What percentage of your workout are focused on Cardio?

- Hard to say since I mix it up alot. I would guess about 70%?

Now how about Weights or resistance training? This doesn't have to be machines, it could be dumbbells, tubing or bands, or other resistance training?

- Hard to say since I mix it up alot. I would guess about 15%?

Lastly, how much of your workout is focused on conditioning/stretching? This would be crunches, leg lifts, yoga, etc.

- Hard to say since I mix it up alot. I would guess about 15%?

Now where do you workout? Do you take classes? Go to the gym? Or workout on your own?

- DVDs at home!

What percentage of your workout are focused on Cardio? Not sure. The Slim Series stuff tries to work it all in, IMO.

Okay, well I'll take an average week where I'm exercising.

What percentage of your workout are focused on Cardio?

I would have to say 99% of my workout is cardio.

Now how about Weights or resistance training? This doesn't have to be machines, it could be dumbbells, tubing or bands, or other resistance training?
This is hard to say. I've been using only the Ellyptical machine but I change the resistance weekly, going up or down.

Lastly, how much of your workout is focused on conditioning/stretching? This would be crunches, leg lifts, yoga, etc.
1%. I spend about five minutes after my cardio doing the Ab Lounger.

Now where do you workout? Do you take classes? Go to the gym? Or workout on your own?

At home. I hate gyms. Too smelly and I feel that people are watching me.

Hi Miranda,

Thanks for the welcome! I also have a home gym, the kind with the weights and pulleys to work out just about any part of the body, a mini trampoline, and free weights. I use to have a stationary bike, but the seat hurt my butt. :-) I hate going to gyms because of the smells and the feeling that people were watching me and judging me if I wasn't doing something right or not long enough. Plus, I like to work out in the mornings and I can't seem to find a gym that opens early. :-)(I have to be at work by 7:00am, so I wake up at 3:15 in order to have my one cup of coffee and workout on the ellyptical for 40mins. to an hour and still have time to stretch, cool off, shower and fight the morning traffic) I read a post about having breakfast within one hour of waking. That might be another factor in hitting a plateau after 5 1/2 weeks of trying to get myself back to a decent size.
