Good Morning,

I purchased my ellyptical from Sears about two years ago or less. I was about $399. For the life of me, I cannot remember the brand name (I'm at work). Once I get home, I'll let you know the brand. It's an excellent machine. I absolutely love it.

Did you mean under $400? Unless it's a used elliptical trainer, and well used at that, I would say it would be hard to find one for under $40.

Besides that.....I'm not up on info on trainers, but some of the other regular posters are, and I know CL-Miranda just bought one. Hopefully they will be able to steer you in the right direction.

Good Luck ♣

Be careful...make sure you take into consideration your weight, the planned amount of usage etc... get the best machine you can afford. we just bought one and it was really expensive but Dh is a pretty big guy so we had to make sure that the machine we got was safe for him as well....

I have a Pro-Form ellyptical machine and I love it. The benefits are amazing, working out both the upper and lower body. Plus, I have bad knees, and this is a low-impact workout not affecting my knees. You should definitely research each machine carefully and I agree with Divaliscious being sure you will use it regularly due to the cost.
