I will get to looking at what I've been missing here in a minute, but I just wanted to say I miss you ladies. It's strange how often I think about people I have never met. I wonder from time to time what's going on with you all.
Having gotten married, and then starting a new job and still trying to keep up with running and working towards black belt testing have all proven to be a balancing act that I have no idea how to master at this point.
Good news is that I passed black belt test on October 22. I still can't believe I get to where the white uniform now. It's so cool, and so humbling. My black belt has my name on it. I'll have to post a picture as soon as I get a copy via email.
I've been working about 9 or 9 1/2 hours every day at my new job. I'm the new one so I need to, but I don't see that lasting forever. I am a purchasing agent for a company that is a supplier of organic ingredients, mostly for food applications. I do enjoy the work for the most part. It's a bit more crazy than I'd like, but time passes quickly and the pay is pretty good.
The other thing is that we're hosting Thanksgiving. It was kind of a way to set a firm goal for when the house would be all cleaned up and presentable. It's been tough, and we're running out of time, so there's that stress too.
I cna't believe there are ladies out there that do what I do AND have kids too. I stand in awe of you.
Hope all is well for you ladies.
Lorie

First off:
Sounds like you have been up to your eyes in a whole lot of things, phew....and doing T'Giving- hope the house is spic and span in time :-)
Thanks for stopping by and letting us know what's been going on. We miss you too!

Woo Hoo! Congrats on the Black Belt well deserved for you hard work!!
Congratulations Lori!!!
Great job! I know you were worried about it, but I also knew you would do a fantastic job at the testing! Sounds like things sure are hectic for you! But that's nice to know that you are expecting things to settle down in the future. It's hard to keep up that pace if you don't see a light at the end of the tunnel!
Hope Thanksgiving goes well, I'm sure you will have everything in order for your guests! And just remember they aren't there to scrutinize the house, they're there to see you, eat and visit!
Hope everything continues to go well for you! Pop in when you can!!!
