Personally I find that sometimes it's not that I'm hungry, I just want something to occupy my mouth (get all your minds out of the gutter, LOL). So having that drink of water puts off me running to grab a snack. I've also heard that often when we think we are hungry, we are really thirsty instead, and having that drink will satisfy you, so reach for the cup before you reach for the goodies!
