I have been out of the internet for a bit, bit am still working out, etc. I recently got started with a whole new fury; that will happen when you find out that a year ago you were thought of as the fat girl. Yes its not now, but I don't want to be thought of that at all! The funny thing is that I have not lost anything really since May - well maybe a 1.5 pds, but I have just maintained the weight I lost - which I suppose is good given that to be honest I was not being as diligent as I should have been.
Question to everyone, where did you get the daily journal and online calorie counters? I have everything on a spready but well thought it would be nice to actually be able to join ya here.

Sorry I have been gone for so long, not that I was missed. :)
Regards

Hi there, and welcome back :-)
I see from your profile you're in England- whereabouts? I'm originally from Dublin, Ireland. It's great to hear you're back into the swing of working out. Currently we have a challenge going on, we're about to embark on week3, feel free to join us!

As for the journals- there are several online ones, some of our members use www.fitday.com If you scroll down to the journal section here on the board you will find a good few of us post our journals. Some are more detailed than others. It's up to you what you put into them- there are no journal rules around here.

Looking forward to having you around again~

I find that having to write it down accomplished two things, firstly I don't eat too much and secondly it makes me eat. I have a slight problem with making sure eat when I diet. I tend to get a little too obsessive and will opt to not eat all day, so this way I am making sure I can sustain the weight loss. I have been at this since last March, took a few months off and have lost about 4.5kgs, that know of. I was afraid to hop on the scale for a while, so really have no clue if I lost anything before then; I changed my eating and exercise in Jan. 24 more pds to go! Feels like it's taking ages!

Welcome back Monetsf! Great job on maintaining that weight loss, that is an achievement in itself! It can be so easy to lose weight, then think, "Okay, I'm all done now, where's that Pastry?" LOL

Anyways, I know before you had talked about weaning yourself down in calories by increments, is that still what you are doing?

And yes, like the other ladies said www.fitday.com is where I think most of track our foods (if we do). You can input custom foods, but there is really a great selection of foods in there.

If you need help with conversions (I think England is on the metric system) and Fitday seems to use imperial mostly, I use the website http://www.convert-me.com/en/ to help out!

Hello!
Not sure what the incremental calories system was? But I am sticking to at a max 1500 calories a day - I actually try to stay below it so I can save up calories I suppose, does that work? Meaning I am meant to meet for a glass or two of wine so was hoping by saving a hundred calories a day would allow me to dip over a bit. Or do I just eat less that day, get very drunk with an empty tummy, or what? Then there's thanksgiving, which I am cooking, however using lean turkey meat and non fat evaporated milk for the pumpkin pie. No tators, squash instead, although it's the stuffing that's gonna get me, cranberry and apple. Thanks for the conversion, I find the metric system to be a bit confusing.
