When do you exercise?

I was just wanting to know what time of day you exercise? Do you break up your exercising routine throughout the day, or do you do it all at once? It would be interesting to find out how others juggle kids, work, other obligations, and exercise.
Thanks

I work out in the morning. Right after my oldest gets on the school bus. I settle my youngest down with some breakfast, then I do my workout. Weekends are harder with both kids there. I usually take Saturday off. On Sunday, I have to get up before they do, to do my workout.

Due to my work schedule I have to break up my workouts between days and nights. I take an hour long Taekwondo class every other Monday at 11am, Wednesday nights I have regular class from 6-7 pm and Sparring team from 7-9, Thursday nights I workout from 7-8:15, Friday mornings at 11 am, every other Saturday from 8:30-9:30, and every Saturday

I exercise either early in the a.m. (6am) or in the evenings (after 5 but before 7pm). I currently live in Florida, and it's still warm during the day. I don't like wearing sunglasses when I run, so those are the times that work best for me. I notice that I have more energy if I work out in the morning; working out in the evenings is sometimes challenging. Especially when home in Texas, as my boyfriend has three daughters and we spend a lot of time with them.

Lori, I'm definitely not a morning person, at least during the workweek!! My exercise choice is shortly after finishing up with work. I like to take some sort of break between work and exercise, but like to get it done and out of the way before the evening begins, so by 6pm. That way I still have the evening to relax :-)

I usually break mine up. I try to get in 30 min during the weekday mornings before I get myself up and the kids ready and then I try to get in another 30-45 min in the evenings (9pm) after the kiddos go to sleep. Saturday and Sunday I get in a morning workout but no evening... On the mornings I can't wake up to workout, I make myself do a longer workout in the evening!

Well I can't say for sure when I exercise, as it's been a bit sporadic (like never) lately. LOL

But I am starting to take some classes around noon at work. Especially during the winter I find it hard to get motivated and get up early to work out. So this seems to be a good alternative for me to pop out in the middle of the day and get it in.

I'm also NOT an evening person. When I get home it's all about getting dinner on the table and spending time with my son, and I just don't seem to have the energy to get moving in the evenings.

In the summer I find my schedule and energy levels are totally different. I love going for bike rides after dinner, and just spending more time in general outdoors. I'm also waiting to see when my night class is going to be this semester (January). This past semester I took two night classes (Tues & Wed) and I found it was a bit much. Perhaps with only one class I will fit in a bit more activity in the evenings!

3 times a week I exercise at lunch for 45 mintutues with a coworker and then I do 4 evenings a week after work for either an hour at the gym or I have recently started two jog with my husband for 45 mintures if I don't get to the gym.

Thanks to everyone who responded. It's nice to get some other ideas. Right now I haven't been exercising much at all. However, I tried exercising around the 6pm time, and I enjoyed it. The only problem is that I'm running my kids to their activities at that time quite a bit. Today it was a staff meeting that took way too long. But I would like to try to get back on schedule. If I leave it too late in the evening, I feel pooped, or I have correcting to do (I'm a teacher, so I have homework sometimes). I think I will just have to just do it. Again, thanks!!

I tend to work out whenever I get the chance. I will often go after lectures or seminars or when I happened to go to campus as the gym is there. Granted I don't tend to work out on the day I give a lecture as I have to look nice; I have not mastered the gym shower facilities yet, but am thinking I shall have to soon! I do like working out before it gets too late in the day so I can avoid cycling home in the dark. One thing I do and have done for quite some in incorporate my exercise into my daily life. For instance, I cycle everywhere as opposed to taking the bus. To and from campus is about 20-25mins on the bike and will add up after a while.

I'd love to ride to work (in the summer, not now, LOL)! BUT I live on one side of the river and the darn University is on the other side. And YES we have bridges, but the path takes you waaaaayyyyy down into the river valley and then you have to haul your a$$ waaayyyyyyy up. LOL It's a little daunting. But I'll have to give it a go at least once and see how disgusting and sweaty I am by the time I get there.
