Finding a pair of jeans

So with my trip approaching I started to realise that I cannot bring my ratty old and thankfully very baggy pair of boy jeans with me. The boy jeans are just that, a pair of men's that I pick up when I was at my heaviest cuz well they actually fit and I did not have to see what the actual size translated into women's sizes. I have this thing about not buying a pair of jeans over a size 12 (American size). This is also why I run to the Gap cuz they have american sizes on all of their clothing. So went out today for the second round of getting my butt and large thighs into a pair of jeans, girls fit this time. Went to River Island then to Marks and Spencer. The M&S jeans went on, but were very very unflattering. So I thought I would go back to the Gap and try it a second time. So grabbed some boot cuts, a 10 and a 12 and headed to the fitting room. The 10's did not have a chance, but the 12's went on. Came out of the fitting room and the assistant complimented me and said you know have you tried the long and lean? I saw them but thought they were for those people who were long and lean and did not give them a second thought. She brought me a pair and I was almost shrieked after I put them on! They fit great! Very flattering for those who have larger bottoms and fit nicely all around. And they are not meant to be loose leg, they just seem to smooth you out - and no there is no elastic on these babies either. So I wanted to pass along this new gospel in case anyone else is struggling to find a pair of jeans out there. Try the Long and Lean from the Gap, you might have the same reaction I did.

That is too funny!!!
I love the Long and Lean Gap jeans too. I have one pair of them and wear them so much I'm thinking of getting another pair. I wear them more than all my other jeans put together. They are very flattering.
