So I was browsing around on the US government Food and Nutritional Info website, and I came across this comprehensive calculator.


You have to put in a lot of info, but it gives you your BMI, your healthy weight range, and how many calories you would need to maintain, gain, or lose 1 to 2 pounds per week. Plus a nice little summary for yourself.

This was interesting, thanks Miranda. Weird thing is it tells me I am overweight, but my BMI is "healthy." Huh??

I got the same result. I am going to take those results with a grain of salt. They do have a disclaimer that the ideal weight may differ based on activity levels and muslce mass. I know I'm never going to be 100 pounds (the low end of my "ideal" weight) LOL

No, I'll never be the low end of my "ideal weight range" either, which was like 123 I think

I got the same result and my lowest weight range they listed was 113 which I don't EVER remember being past middle school! LOL
