Okay, it's Monday, new week, ALMOST a new month, and the first day of the 6 Week CL Challenge!! Whoo hoo!
So what's up for the week ahead?

Darla, I have read that for most people sports drinks really aren't necessary. They are meant to replenish lost nutrients/minerals/etc. and we normally don't exercise to the extent that there is that kind of nutrient loss.
They are high in calories, and certainly won't do any harm, but you aren't really getting any benefits from drinking them either. You are better off with a bottle of water in most cases.
Darla, I agree with Miranda on this one, regarding sports drinks. Usually the first ingredient is also a sugar of some sort. (They are good to replenish all the lost liquid, etc...through causes of alcohol though, lol)....
Plus, welcome to the board crashbang!! Hope your week eases up.

I stay away from Sports Drinks but will occasionally drink Propel. It has a lot of the nutrients that are in Gatorade but very few calories - 10 per 8 oz.
