National Wear Red Day! Friday 2/2

Friday is National Wear Red Day
National Wear Red Day is a day when Americans nationwide wear red to show their support for women's heart disease awareness.
The Heart Truth—a national awareness campaign for women about heart disease—created and introduced the Red Dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness in 2002 to deliver an urgent wakeup call to American women.

Thanks for posting this JJ- I had heard of this (I think from Oprah)...but had forgotten. I'd already chosen what to wear tomorrow....now have to go back into the closet to see what's available for red. Don't think any of my red stuff is clean- may just be earrings ;-)
Thanks again!!!

The school sent notices home with the kids on Tuesday asking the parents to dress the kids in red today and I even wore it to work too!
I didn't know it was Wear Red Day! I don't think I've got anything on that's red today. :-(
I do have an exercise class today, so my face will likely be red afterwards! LOL
I think it is so important to raise awareness though of women's heart disease, so am glad they have something like this that is so visible going on!
