Do you drink Decaf? Did you know.....

This is something I read this morning, and thought that those who drank decaf might be interested to know something about it. It's from (link)

I have a friend who drinks decaf who swears it contains caffeine -- and I guess she's right!
I am a "real" coffee drinker, no decaf for me ... I drink about 16 oz of Dunkin Donuts coffee (my favorite) in the mornings. But, I cannot drink coffee after around 2-3 p.m. or it messes with me. I can't tolerate it in the evenings, it will keep me awake! In my 20s I used to drink coffee practically all day and at night too ... I can't do that anymore, nor do I want to!
Wow! I think it was maybe a year ago that I switched from full-on caffeinated coffee to half caff/half decaf.
I don't drink regular brewed coffee, but make espresso in the morning (albeit a watered down espresso). So I fill up my travel mug (16 oz) with espresso. I go to Starbucks and have them mix 1/2 pound of decaf espresso beans with 1/2 pound of Italien Roast and it is fabulous.
I do find that I'm more sensitive to caffeine now, and rarely drink anything caffeinated after noon. But I also know that when I tried to cut out caffeine completely I had all those nasty withdrawel symptoms!
Like some of you I used to drink a whole lot more coffee when I was younger, especially in a colder climate. Nowadays it's just my regular cup in the morning -at home, and then another one mid-morning -at school. That's it. Both are regular coffee, one splenda and a splash of milk (no black coffee for me).
On the weekends I look forward to having a bigger cup- and really savor it.
Didn't know that decaf had some caffeine though....

I did know that decaf had some caffeine in it, just like "non-alcoholic" beer has some alcohol in it, but I didn't know it had that much.
