QOTW: What will be Different about ...

this month, than last?
So the question for this week, I want you to think new beginnings!! Spring is just around the corner, and the birds are beginning to sing (well, spring darn well better be right around the corner!). So think about what you accomplished, or didn't accomplish last month and tell us what you are going to do differently this month.
It could be simply about how you approach your fitness and eating, or it could be an actual action that you are going to take like working out an additional day a week. It can be as simple as vowing to start off your day with a glass of water before your morning coffee!

My step is going to be to aim for more consistency in my food intake. My calorie intake looks like a darn roller coaster when I look at my consumption for the whole week! LOL
So I think that I will have to really take a moderate approach to my weekend eating and keep a stricter schedule.
My goal this month is going to be a combination of Gretchen and IG as far as the scale is concerned...
I weighed myself on the 1st of the month and will weigh myself again on the 15th and 29th, but I will not record my actual gain/loss until the 29th.
This is coming from an "every day weigher" and I realize that the number on the scale is having too much of an impact on how I feel about myself. Friday my mom and I went shopping and she bought me a pair of size 6 jeans, I wore them Saturday to the birthday party and saw a guy I went to college with who complimented me for looking the exact same as I did then - size and all. I was flattered but knew that I was strategically hiding my problem areas! lol
Whoo hoo on teh size 6 jeans Vanessa!!!! I'm sure you looked even BETTER because of the work that goes into those size 6 jeans as opposed to when we were in our 20's!!

Well first off I love the idea of a glass of water in the mornings....I'm going to take out a 20oz'er when I turn on the coffee in the mornings to drink while I get ready for work. I used to do that.....don't know why I stopped. (Thanks for the reminder) I'm also going to try and 'bump' up my exercising. I'm losing, but not constantly enough for my liking, plus I go up and down too much (just by a pound or so, but I'm not happy with it)- I want to lose at least 6lbs by the summer. I know I can do that!!

IG I know what you mean about the losing! During the week I see the scale drop 2 pounds but by the end of the weekend, I see all my hard work go to waste and the scale is right back where it was to begin with. I'm just not really being dedicated enough to losing!
