Well this week marks the official start of spring, whether there is snow on the ground or butterflies in the air!

Does your workout/exercise routine undergo a change in the spring? I take more walks outside but that's about it.

Does your diet change? More fruit for sure, more grilled stuff I suppose that's a bit healthier than normal.

Does your outlook change as the weather changes, or the season's change? Are you more likely to START a fitness/diet regime when the season's change? I enjoy the change of seasons but very little has to do with fitness and diet. lol

For those of you who don't have seasonal changes, is there anything that marks the beginning of spring for you? My 3 year old wants to play outside all the time, I mean all the time, I mean from the moment we wake up till we go to bed. We have to lock all the doors from the inside so she doesn't get out when we are not looking.

Does your diet change? Yes. I love all of the things that come with spring, and then summer!! There's the spring leaf lettuces, field greens (baby dandelions), pears are in season now, too, aren't they? And the sun just FEELS better, doesn't it?

Does your outlook change as the weather changes, or the season's change? Are you more likely to START a fitness/diet regime when the season's change? No. I truly love all the changes of seasons (here in mid-western IL). I'll tell you though, I get grumpy when the weather doesn't match the season. We had some really warm days this winter, and I was probably the only unhappy person around!! :c)

For those of you who don't have seasonal changes, is there anything that marks the beginning of spring for you? Daffodils and crocus - absolutely.

....another season question I may have difficulty answering- but I'll give it a shot!

Not really a change, I guess I do become a little more focus knowing that summer's around the corner- and vacation time!!

Does your diet change?

Nope...

I think that after a stint of bad weather (and in my case it's only a few days at a time) and the sun comes out your attitude DOES change. Everyone seems much more jolly :-)
I would think that for the most part people find it easier to start a regime this time of year.

Not spring per-se, but Carnival (end of April) marks the beginning of the wet and hurricane season!!
