You Should Stay in Shape With a Personal Trainer

You definitely want a better body, but you don't know where to start.
And it's all so overwhelming, you tend to lose motivation easily.
A personal trainer can help you get the body you desire - even if you have a long way to go!

You Should Stay in Shape With Running

Chances are that you're already in fairly good shape
Why not challenge yourself with a run from time to time?
Running will give you that lean, toned body you desire

Vanessa, I got the same thing, and honestly, I'm just not a runner!

Hi everyone,

It has been such a long time since I have been on the boards.

How Should You Get in Shape?

I do sit ups, jumping jacks, jump rope, walk, weights, AND pilates (LOVE). This way the fat can never settle too long. I try to work out for about an hour 3 or 4 times a week. Plus the obvious housework, errands (my fav).

Errand for grocery shopping. Not only do I get my self organzied (list of store aisles)when I go to the grocery store(so I am in and out quicker), but I strap on my ipod band and power walk in the store for some quick cardio. Now that it is warmer out, I can do yard work too!

housework...it is spring!!!! clean out your closets!!!!! a little a time. it revs up your metabolism enough to make you sweat a little when you are bringing out those huge bags of stuff that you never use anymore.

I used to be 175 lbs after 2 babies!!! I am back to 135lbs (pre-baby weight). It has taken a few years to get there but I have done it slowly so I can keep it off! I sound like a Denise Richards commercial right now!!!!! lol

We need a little support when the weight isn't coming off. Like my friend (belly) that sits with me when I sit down. It is not as bad as it used to be but I have it still. UNFORTUNATELY EVEN WITH ALL THE WORKING OUT I DO... I just look at it like, I am healthy and I am NOT perfect! We all want the Victorias Secret body but most of us know it won't happen for us. I am ok iwth that! Ok all I hope this really helps!!!!!! HAVE THE BEST DAY!!!!!!

Welcome back! I thought I recognized your name! IG had posted a link to a quiz on the first post, we were all seeing how accurately they portrayed us! But I do agree about you making all your errands and just general housework count by making small adjustments, like walking faster, or putting a bit more effort into that gardening!! I'm all for killing two birds with one stone!

No worries, I'm apparently well suited to running, now if I could just convince my legs and feet of that fact, I'd be off racing! LOL

Figures. I'm built for this...maybe I should work more on this. Build some muscles to burn the fat off
