So ladies I tend to do a lot of thinking while I'm in my exercise classes.
What are you doing better now than you did 5 or 10 years ago?
I'm eating better, healthier than ever before.
What are you doing better now than you did 5 or 10 years ago? I'm taking better care of myself with my diet, exercise and lifestyle
Have you tried anything new in your 30's you wouldn't have dared in your twenties? Ummm... single motherhood...
What changes have you experienced in your thirties that you're greatful for? I've become more independent, I stand up for me AND my kids and I've let go of friendships that became too much work!
What are you doing better now than you did 5 or 10 years ago? Taking care of myself I guess.
Have you tried anything new in your 30's you wouldn't have dared in your twenties? I'm very anxious to try new things and do things I might have not dared before but hard to find the opportunities. I know, I need to start making them.
What changes have you experienced in your thirties that you're greatful for? I feel like I've turned into a more rational grown up. Not nearly as likely to let my emotions get the better of me.
What are you doing better now than you did 5 or 10 years ago?
I think finding balance. And realizing that I dont' have to do 'A' OR 'B', I can do 'A' AND 'B'. I also think I've become much more relaxed and realistic as a parent - I am trying not to fall into the trap of having these unrealistic expectations of my child and then blaming him when he doesn't meet those expectations.
Have you tried anything new in your 30's you wouldn't have dared in your twenties?
I think I've become more social, and a little more proactive about finding social activities for myself. I've joined exercise classes even when I didn't know anyone there, I've joined a book club, and I've tried to pursue my interests a little bit more.
What changes have you experienced in your thirties that you're greatful for?
I think I'm more confident (most of the time) and I think I am on my way to achieving the balance that I strive for, or at least am more aware of how to re-balance myself when things are crazy!
What are you doing better now than you did 5 or 10 years ago?
Exercising more consitantly, and eating healthier.
What are you doing better now than you did 5 or 10 years ago?
Living life in a balanced way. Overall, taking better care of myself, physically, emotionally, and mentally (like doing away with friends that suck the life out of me, and surrounding myself with friends that bring joy in my life instead).
Have you tried anything new in your 30's you wouldn't have dared in your twenties?
Actually, a ton of things. I'm more open to trying new things, new foods especially, etc. I'm all for doing those "once in a lifetime" things, whereas, before, I'd say I have all the time, so I wouldn't do it. Also, trying meds to help me mentally, they have made a huge diff in my life.
What changes have you experienced in your thirties that you're greatful for?
Mostly they are internal. Changes in my personality. Realizing what life really is about. Not allowing my emotions to run my life, and making good choices for longevity, instead of, "what feels good at the moment". I'm only 32, but so much has changed in the past few years. I look forward to the next 8 years and hope they are as good as these first two have been. :)
What are you doing better now than you did 5 or 10 years ago?
I've been more conscious of exercise and a balanced diet since entering my 30's...before that it was just "whatever".....
Have you tried anything new in your 30's you wouldn't have dared in your twenties?
Can't think of something I've done that I wouldn't have dared to do....though I did start doing Yoga in my 30's, in my 20's the thought of doing it never even entered my mind!
What changes have you experienced in your thirties that you're grateful for?
More definition in my upper arms- not ready to hold a "Gun Show" or anything (lol)- but they are in much better shape than they used to be :-)
