Good bye to coffee, now what?

I loooooove my morning cup of coffee, and I put in a ton of flavored creamer. I've known for awhile that this is a bad, but kept dismissing it as 'just an early morning indulgence - have all day to work it off'. Well today I actually took the time to look at the amount of calories and saturated fat. Yikes. Time for something new.
I am not ready to give that first blast of caffeine (NOT a morning person, but have kids who are going 110 mph when I get up), and I also want something hot in the morning. I don't care for tea at all. I know I'm not making it easy, but does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Heather~ welcome to the 30's board!
Thanks for adding your 'coffee' suggestions for Rebecca. That's nice that your DH is with your on your journey to health and fitness. Do you workout together?
As for counting calories, have you tried www.fitday.com? It's a free site where you can log in your food and not only see how many calories you're consuming, but where they're coming from too. Check it out!
Once again, welcome :-)

That is another very good idea! Thank you! While I am figuring out what I am going to do next, I have cut my serving size down from a giant latte cup to a regular, 1 c. size. I am still doing the fat free vanilla, and it's icky (oily) as a good desciption. So my search continues! I sooooo appreciate everyone's suggestions!
This board is AWESOME! Rebecca

Welcome to the board Heather and thanks for the suggestion!!
I was just looking at my creamer International Delight French Vanilla and it is 3 grams of fat with 0g trans fat. Non-dairy which is a big deal for me and 40 calories per serving.
I like anything (almost) that comes in a pre-packaged serving! I'm horrible at serving out larger portions of anything than I should so having someone else doling it out works much better for me!
