Thanks Miranda- you know the only books on health I own are those for exercise (mostly Yoga books). I agree with Sunflower (and know I'm not consistent enough to stay on a diet (of that sort)....I know what I should and shouldn't be eating!
However, it's nice to see what's new on the market; the snack book sounds good, as does the clean diet one. Might look out for those ones!
I'm curious to see what's in these books, and I know on the "Shopping Bags" show where they review all sorts of products, they had a diet show where they tried and had other people try a number of different diets. There were some positive results for some diets, and mixed for others. In the end they kind of said they'd like to take bits and pieces from all the plans and develop their own diet from that, which is kind of what we all feel I think. I like parts of Atkins, South Beach, etc..
The problem is that they all profess to be experts, and then they all give conflicting information!!
