And then you blend the crap out of it, it will be really thick, so I have to drink it with a straw, but with a little bit of tweaking you can make it as thick or runny as you want. I've also tried it with berries and more liquid which is okay too.
Nope, I usually use the Raspberry, but I make it stronger to add a little flavor to the smoothie. The green tea powder is quite strong, and I like to have a little sweetness in it.
Gretchen - from my South Beach days we always started with a base of 1/2 cup skim milk and 1/2 cup fat free/low fat yogurt - then just start adding stuff! LOL
Gretchen- smoothies are one thing I actually do enjoy....when I have one! LOL It's been a long time. Making my own is not something I'm good at, so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread too ;-)
I have not tried these first three but they sound great! My book that I get these recipes from is called "Smoothies" and the authors are Barber, Corpening, and Narlock.

I don't know if you guys have Booster Juice down there, but they made my favorite smoothie - a Matcha Green tea smoothie.
So I've adapted a recipe for myself:
6 oz double strength crystal light
2 scoops frozen yogurt
4 (or so) crushed ice cubes
1 tsp Matcha green tea powder
And then you blend the crap out of it, it will be really thick, so I have to drink it with a straw, but with a little bit of tweaking you can make it as thick or runny as you want. I've also tried it with berries and more liquid which is okay too.
The double strenght Crystal Light is actually a "flavor"?
I have a whole book full! Let me know what kind you like, and I'll see if I can find something for ya!

Okay I'm thinking along the lines of peanutbutter and banana as indvidual or mixed type of thing.
Pretty much anykind of berry from strawberry, blueberry, raspberry.
Chocolate possible?? lol
Thanks!!
