i have a variety of fave exercises-i have a great heavy bag..hes slam man if ure familiar-great workout!!i love walkin-i walk ALOT!!!!!!in dallas heat..i walk least 4 miles weekly-with backpack loaded down!im very strong-but love handles and abs r hideous!
i recently started my 1st love:ballet and jazz dance basics..
so why is it so tuff to get motivated these days?
after recent implant surgery-boobage-my body seems to have changed..i have weight prob and ive always been one of those hateful women who never had to diet!!!
i would love if someone on here would like to help motivate each other..
i already make sure to do a positive thing everyday-for myself and for others..
so im not depressed..what is my prob..?lol

Same thing here. I bought a stability ball, and I love it! So why is it sitting in my bedroom collecting dust?! I have a treadmill, same story. My dh will get up early with the kids so I can walk before he goes to work - so why do I sooo easily skip it?! I think I need an accoutability person to check up on me daily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do think I'd behave then? lol Welcome - this is a great place to start with lots of friendly ladies!

You know we hear it so often 'how do I motivate myself?'- we all know the rewards of working out and eating right...so why is it that it's so hard? If there was an answer, believe me, we'd post it :-)
For me it can be something as simple as looking good in that top....not necessarily seeing numbers on the scale.
The ladies here are fantastic at encouraging each other, and we're all doing our own things- no one diet/workout going on. One of the reasons I love it here ;-)
We have a challenge starting on Monday (so long as I get my act together and get it together lol)- so check back and see if you'd like to join us......

Welcome to the board! I think motivation is always a huge hurdle to overcome. It's crazy how something that makes us feel so great can be so hard to motivate ourselves to do! I do find that coming to the board here helps, even if it's just to talk about fitness and diet related things and help to keep my focus on those issues!! The women here are great at keepign each other on task!
maybe we can try and motivate each other to get off our behinds!..lol
normally i wouldve checked in every day here but there was a crime incident -anyway-i have had friends stayin with me since then-but life goes on and i broke my diet!!!!so-i will be gettin plenty of exercise to day-but what bout tomorrow,and the next day?
so-ill help u if u wanna help me..:)

Hey joey, I just noticed that you are a musician - I have to say I really admire people who can get up on stage to perform! (regardless of saggy butts - I don't think I could do it if my butt and boobs were perky as all get out!)

i tried on my bikini from last year-wow-not what i was hopin for..
since then ive ordered a scale from weight watchers that measures body fat!im not a large person-but i am out of shape-so-everyday im trying to get out and walk to places i mite normally ride to!
i take the ipod,enjoy the wildflowers and get my errands done on foot -while burning fat!!!
yesterday i walked 2 and 1/2 miles to the grocery store!!!and bought healthy low fat foods.
2 birds -one stone..
(as hot as it is0i sweat half my butt offf!!!)-lolol
