For this week the idea is to pick two of the above elements and work on them both. Don't forget about the third one though ;-)

No, I don't think the soup cans are bad at all- I know a few people who have used them in the past actually. As for the walking- I know it can help build up muscle (esp. in your calves- and elsewhere)- and is a great way to keep your heart healthy- as for being able to actually gain weight (besides the muscle)...I'm not too sure. Doubtful though.


Not to say I'm saying don't do it- I still believe it's a great way to keep fit and healthy ;-)

See I like walking and I'm more prone to walk in the mornings than swim I think...LOL. I know that the pool opens at 6:30 in the morning for adults though, so I'll at least have an option.

Nothing wrong with soup cans at all! Anything that you can hang onto for weights should be fine. As for walking helping you gain weight - probably not. BUT as long as you increase your calories to account for any extra exercise you should be fine. It's a great way to get your body healthy - which I know is your goal as well as gaining extra pounds!
