Has anyone ever did this program? I decided to buy some sort of log, that would give me some kind of inspiration, that wasn't a computer program. lol. As much as I love my spreadsheets, I came to realize I just got bored by it and wouldn't keep it up and well, would kinda turn into me ignoring everything. So not good.
I saw this log book and everday they have some sort of real-life success story and a tip for the day. I liked it, and of course, started to realize there was more to just that log book.
It's a 12-week program, and I just started it and just finished reading the book. I was curious if anyone else has done it, AND how successful was it for you.
Thanks.

I think it's great that you are going to do it.
Oh, you didn't scare me, I was just curious as to what you felt "intense" was, and why I'd need a gym. And trust me, both makes sense. :) And I'm going to try my hardest to do it at home, cuz I hate the gym. lol.
I will definitely keep everyone updated.
Thanks for fielding my questions. :)
Just neither really appealed, and when I thought about it I knew that in the long run I cannot be that disciplined LOL ;-)

Hi cher,
I have the original Body for Life book, excellent read. I also didn't do any workouts at a gym and it was fine I did them at home with a flat weight bench that I bought at walmart and hand weights and that worked out just fine and tapes and my treadmill.
I think it's an excellent program.
I did use protein shakes (you and I traded some LOL remember.) and I loved the some of the myoplex bars but other than that I didn't get into a lot of the additional stuff.
Smile,
Deirdre

Hi,
I've been mostly busy moving so I haven't been around the boards much other I just started back on the South Beach Diet so I started a Group on the Beta Site although nobody has joined yet so I am hoping that anyone else who is on the South Beach Diet will also join to share recipes and such. So far so good.
I hang out at the single life board and out at some of the groups on the Beta Site but other than that I have been so consumed with moving in the past month I really haven't been online much.
It's good to be done with the move and be back.
Smile,
Deirdre
(Not to hoard Cher's thread here.....but)
I know you lived in the Mass. area (which is close to my heart, I spent many summers there)- did you stay in the same state, or was it a much bigger move?? In any case, glad you're over the move now (it really is a BIG upheaval- no matter how near or far you move)- and good luck settling into your new place!

I still have some left. I was like, COOL, I can use those. I also bought some of the bars. I figured, if I can deal with the shakes, the bars can't be too bad. lol. NEver thought about going to Walmart. lol. Duh. Do you recall how much your bench was? My problem now is just space, but if it's cheap, and something I no longer want, I can toss it and not feel so bad. kwim?
