I don't think I'm as far as you yet to see results, however, this is what I'm proud of so far....
- I'm proud of myself for working out everyday, even when I'm not up to it
- I'm proud that when I do workout, I'm finishing the exercise (even if it's not at a high level)
- I"m proud that I am truly trying to stick to this program
- I'm proud of most of the food choices I have made.
That's it for me for now. :) I hope to post many more. And like you, I have tried to not be so hard on myself. so when I ate the chocolate caramel last night, I just told myself.....at least you stopped at one and enjoyed it to the fullest.
What a nice thread! Really makes you reflect on why you are doing and how much you have achieved. I am proud of the following:
1. That I am back down to my smaller size before moving. 2. That I can go to a shop and find a pair of trousers that fit and look good and are in the normal/average section. 3. That I have taken so long to lose this weight (24pds), especially with my eating disorder history. 4. My boyfriend now looks at me and is proud rather than annoyed that I am going for another cookie. 5. I can run circles around the skinny girls 10 years my junior. 6. All of my clothes are getting a little big, and those are the new ones! 7. That I can take pictures and not feel ashamed. 8. I feel healthy and happy. 9. I got into a wetsuit without feeling like a beached whale. 10.That in another 8pds I can say that I am not overweight! 11. I am not just another fat American living in England..lol 12. That I am far more knowledgeable about what I am eating and how it makes me feel; that I don't need to eat so much and be healthy.
I've come so far...even if the scale isn't moving, here are some things I'm proud of:
I love getting a good night's sleep...my CPAP machine has made all the difference in my energy level and ability to get off my fanny. (I stopped breathing 97 times, on average, in a 60 min. period and woke up 9 times in 3 hours).
I now have my B-12 shots replacing the vitamin that I can't metabolize.
Great thread!!

Oh I can ramble on and on... I love the positive reinforcement!
Way to go everyone!!!
I've come so far...even if the scale isn't moving, here are some things I'm proud of:
What a great motivator,
1. I am proud that even though I have never been able to run in my whole life, even high school. I can run a mile now.
2. I am proud that I am setting a good example for my kids and family. (Even if they are not joining me...yet)
3. I am proud that my family is proud of me.
4. I am proud of the way my formerly fat calves are all muscly, according to my 14 year old daughter who said, "oh my gosh mom, look at your legs!"
5. I am proud for sticking to it and finishing every time I work out even when it's too hot, too hard, or I have to pee really bad.
Having a great summer,
Windy
Wonderful thread to start Angie-- part of being successful in this journey is recognizing how far we've come!
I'm proud of
I'm sure there are others....but that's good enough for now :-)

What a fabulous thread! I've loved reading how everyone's fitness journey is really having a positive effect on our well being!
I'm proud of ...
Riding to and from work on the days when it's nice
The way my clothes are starting to fit a little looser
The comments that others have made on how I look
The fact that I'm starting to think of fitness as a way of life instead of something I have to do!
Great thread!
