I don't know if this is the exact book she's talking about but I've read a bunch about this book.

Makes sense to me, and I'm glad to know I'm following it with my dinners and snacks. Not sure

I had never heard of that book before, but I know at a walking clinic I was in we had a nutritionist come in and speak to us.

She did a lot of work with first nations population and she said - "my message is whatever you are eating it should look as close to it's natural state as possible. So white bread is out because wheat doesn't grow white. Bologna? No way. Can you identify the animal it came from?" LOL

She also said pick vibrant colors, they have the most nutrients - romaine versus ice berg lettuce? Pick the darker green. I thought she really made sense, and it sounds very similar to the book you are talking about.
