It is shaping up to be one of my best weeks ever, balancing food and exercise both!

I slipped a little yesterday and ate some things I wish I hadn't, but I know myself pretty well and know what I need to do to get back on track.

Not a bad week so far. My eating could be a bit better (watch those snacks) but I rode to work yesterday, walked about 3 K today and took a 50 minute yoga class, so it is actually getting better as the week goes along!

I did go out and buy a load of fresh fruit and veggies, and washed it all and cut it up to keep handy in the fridge and it is making a big difference!

I just got back in the swing of things yesterday and I'm holding steady with the food. Now if I could just get some inspiration to exercise.

I had a big barbeque on Sunday and ate a ton of food that day, with leftovers on Monday. I also skipped my daily 3.5 mile walk on Sunday and Tuesday. I found that I had gained back 2 of the 3.5 pounds I lost last week. So, not my best week ever.

I'm down to only corn as BBQ leftovers, so I won't feel guilty eating that. I also tried to make up for the 2 skipped walks by going to the gym this morning and doing 50 minutes on the elliptical, while still doing my walk this afternoon (even added an extra mile in). Trying to get back on track!

How are you all doing? I am doing awful!!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep hoping I'll get it under control when my period gets here!

Is it an on the wagon week or an off the wagon week?? Off

Any mid-course corrections needed? What are you going to focus on for the rest of the week? NO more treats! And at least 20 min. of exercise each day.

I am doing well; in fact I was able to do a really hard work for the first time in about 2 1/2 weeks! Felt great and I also did not go over my calorie count (1200 is my max) - manage to stay under, and that was with chinese food! Have not lost since Sunday, but I am sure the scale will nudge sometime!

I have also, fingers crossed, finished my dissertation. So today I am going for a mani and a pedicure and other feminine grooming. I am walking to town of course. ;)

Good news on the broken wrist front, the cast comes off in two weeks! Can't wait to get back out on the water!

This is my first week with my new exercise routine so it is an adjustment period. I went from running M-F, and walking 3 miles 7 days per week to alternating running 1 mile/walking 3 miles. I also added arm and leg exercises on the Bow-Flex.

Diet: Went to lunch with my boss monday, and had Mc D. for supper, ate semi-sensibly both meals, but ball games are over for the summer so meal times are much easier to plan now.

Results: I am finally starting to really notice a change in my legs/face, and how my clothes fit. Not much movement on scale, but I know it is coming.
