Looking for new recipes to boost my weight loss, and I am willing to try anything.

My favorite snack is:

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup Honey Nut Cheerios
1/2 cup fruit

Sounds gross, but is wonderful and filling.

Looking forward to hearing and trying your ideas.

I'm trying to increase protien so here's one I just made today

1/2 c fat free cottage cheese
1/4 c orange juice (more or less depending on how well you like cottage cheese)

blend to get rid of the chunks

add 1 carton yogurt (I used lime)
a few ice cubes

It's not real scientific, but I was able to get cottage cheese in me : 0

My husband likes cottage cheese so he just mixes yogurt and cottage cheese for a body for life snack.

I love threads like this!!

I still love apple & peanut butter which was an idea I saw here ages ago on this board.

And fat free pudding or sugar free pudding (chocolate) with sliced strawberries for a low cal/fat dessert!

I make a similar snack to yours, only I use Kashi Go Lean Crunch instead of Cheerios. If I want something sweet I'll often have a Fiber One oats and chocolate chip granola bar or a Weight Watchers toffee crunch ice cream bar.

I also have kind of an odd snack for the evenings when I don't really want sweets. I eat Nature's Own high fiber bread (5 g fiber and 50 cal/slice) with some margarine or toasted with a little feta melted on it.

That is a fabulous site!! Thank you so much for posting!! I love those ideas!

I have tried the frozen yogurt tubes, and I really like them as long as I get a good flavor, but I'm definitely going to use some of those other ideas - first up is the cranberries on the peanut butter with celery!
