Looking for new recipes to boost my weight loss, and I am willing to try anything.

My favorite snack is:

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup Honey Nut Cheerios
1/2 cup fruit

Sounds gross, but is wonderful and filling.

Looking forward to hearing and trying your ideas.

Pita chips are yummy but aren't that healthy they tend to have quite a bit of fat in them so I found some really pretty healthy pitas from Joseph's they are flax, oat bran, whole wheat and what I do is I take the whole bag of them, cut them in up, just take the whole stack and cut them in 8's usually, line a baking tray with foil, spray the foil with some Pam cooking spray, then line up the pitas so they aren't touching spray them lightly with Pam. Then sprinkle with whatever you want, I try not to put on salt so I will sprinkle with pepper, or some parmesan or garlic or some onion powder or any spices you want really and bake them at 350 for about 10 mins, touch them see if they are crispy if they are still a little soft keep them in a few more mins. Don't let them burn or they won't taste good. They will be a healthy pita chip and you can serve them with some great low sugar or sugar free salsa or fresh salsa. GREAT!!!!

I'm going to look for some of those healthier pitas when I'm out this weekend!

My fav's lately have been celery and peanut butter. I forgot how much I loved that. ;)

Um, also I've been eating half a whole wheat bagel with hummus. I really like hummus, so this is great for me. Not sure about the low cal part, but I know it's pretty low in fat.

I like roasted sweet potatoes. I just slice up a sweet potato, put it on a baking sheet coated with a lil bit of nonstick spray and cook those babies up at about 400 degrees (turning once or twice)!
