I voted for daily although my official "weigh-in" day that I use to track myself is Thursdays!

So I'm just wondering, and this isn't just asked to you Schnappsers....but when, if you weigh in daily, do you take your 'official' weight? Or do you?

Even though it wasn't just asked to me, I'll answer. I don't really think in terms of an "official weight". I'm not really sure I understand that concept, actually. I look at trends....generally decreasing, increasing, staying stable. If I'm the exact same weight for several days straight, I assume it's pretty accurate. If my weight fluctuates up and down a lot, I really don't know what I weigh at that time, but it usually stabilizes eventually at one number for at least a few days in a row, so I get a feel for if there has been an overall upward or downwards trend. I do use that number to determine about how much I've lost or gained, so does that make it an "official weight"?

I'm a daily weigher... it helps me keep on track.

I think I get what you're saying.....no real official weight day, you just see if you sustain for a few days and go from there? ...and I see from your profile that you've made it to a weight where you are happy, congrats on that!

For me....still trying to lose, the 'official' weigh in day still helps ;-)

Hey Kristen- not sure if you know this or not.....but other than the lovely pic of the boys and your ticker there's nothing else in your signature- though it does have the message "message truncated" (I've noticed it on a few of your posts, not just this one)- mentioning it in case we're missing out on something really special there ;-)

I need to update that profile! I made it to that weight 3 years ago and have since gained some back. I'd be content dropping about 10 pounds, but would prefer losing close to 20.
