QOTW: Do you push yourself?

You know I was having a conversation the other day about how I really felt that I needed someone (like an instructor or trainer) to help really push me to get the most out of my workouts. Otherwise I have a tendency to just operating in my comfort zone and not challenge myself.

This kind of goes for eating too, I mean I SAY I'll eat better, but I really just make some minor changes here and there to make sure I don't GAIN rather than to make sure I lose.

So how about you ladies?

How much do you push yourself when working out? Work up a sweat? Do you feel tired after a workout or feel like you've reached your maximum or close to it?

I tend to really go for it; if I am not exhausted I kinda feel like I didn't do a good workout.

How about eating? Do you really make those changes you know you should or coast and make minor changes here and there?

I am pretty good about eating and making the necessary changes; I also am a keen tracker. My main issue is when I am on holiday or with my boyfriend's parents at dinner as they always tend to have dessert and therefore so do I. Although I tend to give away a third of my meal to my boyfriend.

What makes you really hop on that wagon and motivates you to work harder?

What motivates me is the scale and a day of shopping. For instance if the scale is going down, I tend to keep it going. And after a day of shopping, I tend to feel like I need to get moving, especially if I went jean's shopping and nothing tends to fit. :(

How much do you push yourself when working out? I almost always push myself when working out otherwise I figure I'm just wasting my time.Work up a sweat? The sweating varies depending on which exercises I'm doing but for the most part yes I do sweat. Do you feel tired after a workout or feel like you've reached your maximum or close to it?

I know I don't push myself as much as I could. I definitely work up a sweat though, and typically feel really good when I'm done.

Well, I'm conscious of the decisions I make. Mostly I watch portion control and getting those 'colorful' fruits and veggies in. Very seldom have real 'fast food'-

A special event....even if I have to make one up!!

It totally depends on how I'm feeling that day.

I am doing slim in 6 and you move on to a next phase every 2 weeks or so to a new more challenging workout and by gosh it's a heck of a lot more challenging so yeah I am challenging myself in my workouts, I'm drenched and smelling when
