Those of you have used the Slim in 6 Series...Cher and a few others I wanted to update you on my progress and let you know about the Slim Series which is the next phase after the Slim in 6. It's a Series of 6 DVDs (and I also bought Keep it Up) which is a stand alone disc that you use after the Slim in 6 series. Anyhow, I just started to embark on the Slim Series which is a great series to challenge you after Slim in 6 is done to really tone you up further and let me tell you last night was tough. Last nights challenge was "Tone it Up" it was a cardio with weights and it was soooo rough. I was reading my booklet over the weekend and it told me to buy 3, 5 and 8 lb weights. So I go to Target and grab the weights and am like jeez these 3 lb weights are way too light so I just bought the 5 and 8 lb weights and I didn't preview the tapes first before starting. I should have because I would have bought the 3 lb weights as well. You are doing the lunges, squats, kicks etc with the weights the whole time, those 5 lb weights got awfully heavy after awhile. YIKES. Needless to say I'll be heading back to Target to get those 3lb weights before I have to do the Tone it Up! DVD again. I can tell though that my body is going to change drastically with this new challenge of the Slim Series and I am very excited for this new path I'm embarking on.

So here I go girls!!! I'm down 27.25 inches. I broke my measuring tape so I wasn't able to measure this week, so I had to order another tape measure duh!!! But so far so good! I highly recommend Debbie Sieber and her workouts to anyone. She is fantastic to slimming your midsection especially. www.beachbody.com

"and you bounced low for what felt like an eternity I seriously wanted to punch her in the face"

OHMIGOD. I almost spit out my water. That was the most hilarious thing I've read today. Granted, I've been doing data entry all morning, so.......

Oh, I really should get on this one. You always get me excited about the SI6 because I KNOW it works. I just wish it didn't aggravate my shoulders so much. Darnit, I'm exercising tomorrow no matter what.

Thanks for the inspiration Dee!!!

I thought it was funny in that Tone It Up! tape her sister is in the background and she said how she was paying her back for all the years she had tortured her. LOL

It's suprising I can get anyone excited about it after describing how painful it is. HAHA!

I'm trying to ignore the pain part, and focus on how good you've done, and how much you've lost. I know it works too. :) I remember doing it for 4 weeks and losing a LOT (not weight, but inches).

Besides, I'm already in pain, so what's new. I may use it to mix it in. I think I'm going to create something that works for me. :)

That's true Cher. It really does work inches why and so FAST!!!!

And once you get in the groove it's easy to get caught up in! I did Cool it Off last night and I was thankful for it, it was a really good stretching routine, although I didn't really feel as though I was doing much because I wasn't doing anythign that worked up a stretch but my muscles were thanking me. HAHA!

Ummmm yeah so today was Tear it Up! a full body cardio blast was the description. Try HELL IN A BOX!!!!

It was 77 mins long. 67 mins of it was cardio and weight training and hardcore cardio none of this pissy old dance around in a circle oh no lunging low and doing leg lifts at the same time. HOLY SHNIKES BATMAN!!!! By the time she finally said lets move to the floor for abdominal's I was thanking the heavens, there was only 10 mins left in the freaking tape.

Oh my gosh that tape kicked my behind. It was freaking awesome!!!!! I will sleep like a rock tonight and tomorrow is my rest day. YAY! I got through one full week of the Slim Series....THANK GOD! Onward and Upward until the next.

Oh and a little mini milestone, I went down another pant size I am so excited. I had these size 16 Old Navy Ultra low rise cargo pants that I accidentally bought a few years ago when I was a size 16 women's I thought they were 16 Womens but turns out they were 16 regular well I didn't return them and as of last week I still couldn't zip them. Well I tried them on today and they fit and I'm pmsing so I know next week after I have Aunt Flo come for her visit they will feel even more comfortable.

I am so excited...*giggles*
