I'm definitely in - I'm going to try to hop on that elliptical that is gathering dust in my loft this week!

Great challenge for my first week here! I use to walk every day for 45 minutes until the weather turned cold.

My goal is to go to the mall and walk..

And this week I am going to stay away from Dunkin Donuts. Might not sound like a great goal but I have been eating breakfast there at least 3 times a week... muffin with a latte!

I think I'm in. Still feeling a little bit out of routine do to the new job but can't keep letting that be an excuse.

I've already bought 5 lb. hand weights I've been using 3 lb.

BJ have you heard of Leslie Sansone's walking tapes (www.lesliesansone.com)? They're a great alternative to walking during the cold winter months.... or even during the hot summer ones!

Yes, I have the Walk Away the Pounds book and DVD. I plan on using them during the snowy days.

I actually walked at the mall today and I felt great.. Until I got home and got an upsetting email from a friend and I ate some chocolate and chips. Hopefully I can get myself motivated tonight to walk it off!

Hopefully your upsetting email hasn't derailed you for the whole rest of today BJ-- in any case; good job on getting to the mall =)

I just joined and found this board and challenge....what a great week for me to start. I have not been doing anything for excerise in a while and this is how my week has been so far:

Sunday - 30 min weight trainging with Bowflex & 60 min on treadmill for 3 miles total walked

Monday - 60 min on treadmill for 3 miles walked

Tuesday - 30 min weight training w/ Bowflex & 60 min on treadmill for 3 miles walked

Wednesday - rest day *I did walk for 30 min around a middle school while working my part-time job and worked up a little bit of a sweat doing it....had nothing to do so I thought I could get in some exercise on my rest day *

Thursday - 60 min on treadmill for 3 miles walked

I plan on using the Bowflex again on Friday and walking on my treadmill for 60 min both on Friday & Saturday.

Thanks for the welcome...I did not get my exercise in last night since I felt sick and I felt much better after I slept. I am sure that is what my body needed a whole day off.
