1. In general, how was your 2007?

Overall it was a pretty good year. Some low points but I think there were more high points!

2. What was a high point in 2007?

BC coming home, in November, from being away for 5 months. I hadn't been that happy in a long time. I really did miss him.

3. What was a low point in 2007?

My best friend in Ireland losing her baby at 7months pregnant, in November as well. I was glad to have BC here for support.

4. Did you reach any of your goals in 2007?

Yep... I cut back on going out as much as I did. In doing so I saved some money, which unfortunately I had to fork out some of that on getting my car fixed ($2,000) in November. Geez.... November was quite the month for me!!

5. Do you have any goals in mind for 2008?

Yes! Some include- not letting people take advantage of me. Get back to jogging... and of course.... lose some of this poundage!!!

1. In general, how was your 2007?

2007 was a challenging year - new job, dealing with teenage issues with my son, and just finding out for myself what I can and can't do.

2. What was a high point in 2007?

I think there were two - starting dating again and meeting Geoff, and getting my new job.

3. What was a low point in 2007?

Dealing with some issues with Matt (my son) it really took it out of me. That and working full and part-time which I've now quit doing. I think not being able to focus on being at home and dealing with Matt's issues was a low point for both of us.

4. Did you reach any of your goals in 2007?

Last year I said I wanted to create some healthier (physically & financially) habits. I don't know if I really accomplished that completely, but I did manage to put some money aside this year, and I did manage to start kickboxing and riding my bike to work in the summer. I think I did a good job of incorporating more activity without having to force myself to exercise.

5. Do you have any goals in mind for 2008?

This year I would like to save up money for downpayment, I would like to get a promotion at work, and I would like to finally get down into the 120's or lower in weight. I think these are all doable goals for me as I've been laying the ground work over the last year.

1. In general, how was your 2007? Peaceful

2. What was a high point in 2007? Just watching my children grow up in to their own little people

3. What was a low point in 2007? Some of the crap I'm still dealing with with exDH

4. Did you reach any of your goals in 2007? I did manage to save money - and a little more than I had expected too!

5. Do you have any goals in mind for 2008? Find a bigger place for the kids and I to live, exercise more regularly

You know it's been interesting to read about everyone's year,
and really made me realize
we're all in the same boat (more or less) here.

There are good days and bad days... and we do get through them!!

Being able to lean on our friends here we've
gotten through some tough times this year
and we've also celebrated the good times together.

THANK YOU!!!

I agree IG - I think that is what's great about having a board dedicated to those of us in our Thirties!! There seems to be a great attitude on this board of taking it one day at a time, and there is always someone to help us up when we're falling a bit behind!
