Well, the first day of November wasn't great.
Stacy- hope that migraine has subsided at this stage.... with all that caffeine make sure to have so more water this evening. You don't want to dehydrate yourself ;-)
You know I think people hear 'detox' and think "carrot juice diet" (or something along those lines)- just basic restriction. Have your friends seen what is allowed, and what is not? I'm sure you've explained it to them. It may just seem a little drastic for them.... not necessarily for you. Plus, if you find it too much, have any weird side affects I'm sure you'll alter what's needed!
They understand what it entails. One friend swears she can't give up milk for 3 weeks, others don't want to sacrifice the gluten.
Yes, I know I for one will be watching closely to see how you do ;-)

Today I went shopping for the food for the new diet and was happy with all the things I found.

Food-wise I did great today. I stuck with the new diet foods, despite temptations at a BBQ. I was planning to start the diet onMonday, but today was a good test case to see if I could do it.

My whole body hurts today and the lumps on my shins grew overnight. I think I'll be taking it easy today.
