Okay I'm using the magic dust icon because maybe that will magically whisk away those stubborn pounds! LOL

Here are my goals for May:

900 Minute of exercise - I've registered for a 90 minute, twice a week kickboxing class until June, so this should be easy to achieve!

Cut down on salty/carby snacks, track calories better

Lose 5 pounds or some inches by May 23 (Montreal trip)

Here's to a great May!!

Not a great day. Busy, busy, and I didn't get to the gym or eat a proper dinner. Rest of the day was good food-wise though.

The bad: More rice crackers and a Dairy Queen Blizzard for dinner

Exercise (0/900 Minutes)

Goal 900 Minutes

Thu- 0 Minutes

Water (40/1860 oz)

Thu- 40 oz

Things to Do in May

1. Get on your bike
2. Feast on artichokes
3. Boost your antioxidant intake with herbs and spices
4. Plant a herb garden
5. Hug someone
6. Buy new dishes
7. Cook up some rhubarb
8. Bake a batch of muffins
9. Eat more organics
10. Buy yourself flowers

Friday-Sunday, May 2-4

Rough weekend. More Matt issues and Geoff moving. So I spent Saturday packing and moving with Geoff and then I spent Sunday packing up Matt's stuff as I'm confiscating everything but the necessities from him and packing it away in storage until his behaviour improves. No electronics, no books, no CDs, no movies, and one week's worth of clothes. I am totally fed up and spent a lot of time stress eating this weekend. I did, however, ride my bike on Friday so I got in 23 km of riding which was pretty good since I didn't get to the gym like I wanted. I also had to make sure to get out to my grams and she is having a hard time thinking about moving into assisted living, so I kind of felt like I'd been through the emotional ringer this weekend.

Food

The good: Only ate out once - for lunch while moving.
The bad: Too much snacking, ate too much cherry pie

Exercise (70/900 Minutes)

Goal 900 Minutes

Thu- 0 Minutes
Fri- 70 Minutes
Sat- Moving all day
Sun- 0 Minutes

Water (40/1860 oz)

Thu- 40 oz
Fri- 60 oz
Sat- 40 oz

Woah Miranda - sounds live a very rough weekend. So sorry you're going through these Matt issues - I know that is a rollercoaster in itself. Stay strong mama - it will pay off.

Just popping in quickly, will have to update more later. Had a tooth removed Monday, and Geoff had knee surgery Tuesday, and my darling son got caught with some kids who were spray painting public property. Thank goodness he wasn't doing anything but still has some consequences to deal with at school.

No exercise really, as I spent the day at the hospital with Geoff, and then spent time with Matt in the evening. And am now trying to play catch up at work as I missed two meetings yesterday.

Am eating okay - have to stick with soft foods because of the dental work which is probably a good thing!
