Ok so here I am journalling my exercise and measurements.
Sounds like you are off to a good start!! In the latest Muscle & Fitness Hers edition they had an article on journaling and said that you should track your exercise, food and mood or feelings. So for instance,
You would record:
Squats - 20 reps - could have gone down lower, felt tired midway throughBreakfast - cereal, yogurt - felt hungry mid-morning, needed a snack, was busy all morning

Record what you did, what you ate, and how you were feeling or what was going on so you can really identify patterns.
That's what they suggested and it made sense to me when I read it, although I'm a bit lazy in the journalling department!
