Ok.... short recap of the month so far:


July 1-6




This was a quiet week in Ireland. The first half of the week was miserably wet so walking was out the window. Both my parents birthdays were this week, we went out for one combined Bday meal. (And splurged calorie wise)- luckily the end of the week was a little dryer and I managed to get a decent walk in on Saturday and Sunday.


Exercise: 160mins


July 7-9



Monday was a busy day of meeting up with some family and enjoying (another) nice meal out! Tuesday I spent with my Mom and Dad, went for a drive and out for (another) meal out. I did go for a walk on both days however. Wednesday; ha!! Travelling all day, but lots of walking from point a) to point b) etc....


Exercise: 140mins


Damage done in Ireland: 5lbs


Plan for the rest of the month:



Cut back on "treats" (no longer on vacation!!)
Fresh fruit & veg daily
Multi-vitamin daily
Water daily
Workout at least 4x's a week, include weight work

IG, sounds like it was a good relaxing vacation! And way to go on the walking!!

Only 5 lbs...I would consider that a success considering..two weeks on vacation with family that you see once a year, along with celebrating birthdays, and bad weather.

I'm sure you will have it off soon.

Think I was still working off Irish time yesterday- was up early and got lots done before 9.30- including shopping, unpacking and dropping off laundry. Was going to get salad stuff for lunch, but it looked wilted so opted to make a (more calorie laden) chicken casserole (I did include LOTS of veggies in it though.)
Met some friends last night and had several beers and a casear salad, no croutons though. When I got home I delved into one of the bags of candies I brought back with me, D'oh.
Day started off good though.....

Friday, July 11

Apart from the cats waking me up (by knocking the phone base onto the floor) early... I'm pretty much back onto "American time"- I think. I've been doing my best to stay up and get up at a regular time.
I did go for a 30min walk in the park- thankfully there's some breeze at the moment, things are hot- 91F yesterday! Which ='s lots of water!
Went out yesterday evening

Not much of an on track day-- went away with the girls and well, lets just say we had a GREAT time of not being good. There was even some chocolate cake with fresh raspberries that joined us!!

Hey IG, glad you're back on regular time - I'm sure that between unpacking, getting back on your time, and catching up it takes a good week before things get back to normal after your Ireland trips! Here's to a fabulous week ahead!
