I'm sort of debating what to do for my workouts.

Hey Lynn, good to see you down here. One of the things I love about our journal section is the feedback and encouragement we get from the others!

I think your 'plan of attack' is a good one. You're right, you don't want to overdo it and get disheartened, on day 2--- one of our favorite expressions is 'baby steps'..... gradually taking bigger ones!

Good luck...... and keep us posted!

(Oh, by the way, have you heard of the Leslie Sansone's "Walk Away the Pounds" series? They're a great way to start off www.lesliesansone.com. You can also get her walks in places like KMart and Target)

Personally I do better when I start small then increase the level of intensity...and walking is GREAT exercise, so it sounds like a good plan.

Lynn - the walk sounds like a great idea. Let us know what you decide to do.

Research shows that breaking up exercise throughout the day has been just as beneficial to doing it all in one go.... and we have to also think, at least we're 'doing it'- good job!

Well I don't officially start my self-inflicted boot camp until tomorrow, but I've been doing quite a bit the past few days.

I think I know the reason why so many of my previous workout plans failed...I am very impatient and expect results right away!

Keep it going..... it does take patience, sometimes A LOT of it-- one day at a time!
