My main goal this month is to exercise.... I'm not going to worry about the scale, or at least try not to. I'm also going to change my journal layout slightly.

Wednesday, Oct 1

Thoughts of the day:
Not a great start to the day, but picked up once school was done with. For some reason the kids were cRaZy today... my assistant and I both picked up headaches by noon!! Did manage to go for a walk down at the park after running some errands. Always feels good to get some exercise in on the first of a month!!

Food for the day:
Didn't really eat until this evening... sort of picked all day. Did make

Thursday, Oct 2

Thoughts of the day:
Ok day-- sorted out the personal issue (it was financial.... nothing like the $$ to add stress to your life!), got home and did my own 'head check' and found an egg.... had a friend check me out, and sure enough I have lice. I did an olive oil treatment tonight-- think I got most of the lice out. I won't go on.... it's not pleasant!
K texted me earlier with a simple "Happy Thursday"- aw.... told him 'not so happy, but thanks' LoL-- poor guy is trying!!
I'm staying out of school tomorrow-- so will be around...

Food for the day:
Breakfast- bagelful and coffee. Snack- orange and a cupcake. Lunch- cheese sandwich and a yogurt. Dinner- pork chops, potatoes and peas. Thankfully I have some orange Milano left to sooth me and my itchy head this evening!!!!

Productivity for the day:
Sorted out financial issue. Olive oiled my hair!

Exercise for the day/week:
Mon- cardio (nothing)
Tues- rest (nothing)
Wed- toning (walk- 40mins)
Thur- cardio (nothing)
Fri- rest ()
Sat- cardio ()

Sun- rest ()

10 things to do in October:
1. Cook up some squash (plan to make a soup)
2. Ditch the leaf blower
(work in the class garden)
3. Go wild for pomegranates
(will pick some at school)
4. Take the stairs (already do this when applicable)
5. Breathe
(this will be good!)
6. Do push-ups (try to use my ball more)
7. Eat more berries
(the store hasn't had raspberries in a while)
8. Challenge your mind (will try...... LoL-)
9. Pick up some plant
(have to work on my own plants first!!)
10. Catch up on your checkups (good idea)

I agree - look at the positives!! Olive oil is a great treatment for hair anyways, you get rid of the nasty eggs, you get a day off and it's Friday!!! Plus K is being sweet - which is always good news!

I do see the positives.... though I will say I had one helluva day doing everything that needed to be done. But I feel like I got a lot accomplished. And K, even though he said he'd come over to *help* sort of bailed when push came to shove.... though I really don't blame him! LoL~~ bless my neighbor... who BC and I refer to as Mom.... and a good friend.

As far as we can tell I'm all clear. We'll follow up with another comb through tomorrow!!

Friday, Oct 3

Thoughts of the day:
Day off.... whatever!! LoL-- up at usual time; wash oil out of hair. Have coffee. Do NIX, call Mom (friend/neighbor/nit picker!)- have a comb through. Gather up clothes, towels and sheets. Do laundry. Pick up lunch (pizza)- back home; vinegar treatment (supposed to loosen up eggs)- wash out. Do a Yoga workout-- use flat iron on hair (it's so dry at this stage.... but figured it would help to have it as straight as it could be for the next

Thoughts of the day:
Another "at home" day-- I'm really not sure about going out of the house a)don't want to pass on lice and b)don't want to pick it up again. The dilemma!! A friend of mine was trying to get me to go out last night.... but I decided to follow my own gut and stay home. Didn't do much yesterday- the house was spotless and there were some good 'lazy' movies on =)
{EDIT}
I did step on the scale to see one pound *gone* ... finally, last time I changed the ticker was in the middle of September!

Food for the day:
Breakfast- eggs & bacon, coffee. Lunch- 2 slices of ham & pepper pizza. Dinner- spaghetti bolognese. *Slice of tiramisu (should have used stronger coffee!!) and second half of Friday nights wine!

Productivity for the day:
Hair checks-- clean & clear

Exercise for the day/week:

Tues- rest (nothing)
Wed- toning (walk- 40mins)
Thur- cardio (nothing)

Thoughts of the day:
And yet again, another "at home" day-- I did venture down to the store... to get some more wine, and some candles.... just to do something 'nice' for myself ;-)
This afternoon I hopped onto the bike, only for 10mins (I seem to have pulled a muscle in my butt!)-- and then sat out reading a magazine. It was hot, but at least there was a breeze.

Breakfast- cereal, coffee. Lunch- turkey and cheese sandwich. S- honey mustard pretzels. Dinner- spaghetti bolognese. *Slice of tiramisu and have another bottle of wine- limit was 2 small glasses.

Productivity for the day:
Hair checks-- clean & clear. More vacuuming and spraying!

That is a lot of work to get rid of those buggers! Hopefully they're all gone and you can stay lice-free the rest of the school year! Have a great week!
