I started out October still not back on track, but I plan to make an effort to buy more healthy foods and not buy lunch very often. I may try to do something close to the detox plan because I can usually stick with that pretty well, but if I try to stay too close to the plan, I find I can't eat out at all.


Wednesday:
Breakfast: bagel-ful
Snack: plum
Snack: soy latte
Lunch: pasta with ground beef and sauce
Snack: pretzels, twizzlers
Dinner: pork chop and couscous in spicy teriyaki sauce
Snack: light bread and smart balance spread
Total calories: 1900


Thursday:
Breakfast: light bfast sandwich
Snack: yogurt
Lunch: salad with beef and pasta in it
Snack: soy latte
Dinner: tofu and green beans in peanut sauce with brown rice
Snack: handful of oatmeal squares cereal
Total calories: 1880

You know when you're on the detox plan you do really well at staying on track... and the fact that you can 'play' around with it and make it work for you is great also. This time of year is perfect to do it for a while.... especially with holidays and things coming up....

Stacy that's a great idea! I've been so off as well and I think I just felt better overall on that detox plan. Maybe I'll join you.

I bought all the ingredients for smoothies for breakfast and the veggie salsa, which seems to be my staple when on the detox plan.

Greg sounds like quite the adventurous cook-- it's too bad he doesn't see what greatness the two of you could be... from the sounds of things. But, and speaking from experience (BC)-- still good to have him there, in any form. Right?

Ate a bit too much today, but the quality was ok. I'm going back on the detox plan tomorrow, so I was using up some food I had in the house
