Hope your allergies have subsided - what a pain!

As for an alternative to snowshoeing, how about some deep water running or exercising on the sand? Snowshoeing is a great way to keep your legs fit and the snow provides some resistance challenges and causes you to really work those muscles, so using sand or water an an alternative might work!

Oh yea.... I'm totally in vacation mode now!!
Miranda, thanks for the idea on using sand or water as an alternative to the snow shoes... yes, Sonia-- that is quite an image LoL
Did absolutely nothing yesterday- food wasn't too bad, as there wasn't much to choose from! Not sure how I did it, but I managed to work my way through 6 movies throughout the day, ending with Trading Places and going to bed around 2.30am. I know, I need to get back into some sort of regular sleep schedule... luckily I'm not back to work until Wed!

A more active day-- and about time, right? LoL
Got up late.... will have to start trying to adjust my internal clock over the next few days. Getting into bed after midnight and waking up around 9am is what I've been doing for the past week or so, doesn't take long to get into that sort of habit!!
Went for a walk in the park, only about 30mins.... and cleaned the house, went shopping and took care of the trash (we have to drop our own trash off at dumpsters.... no 'pick-up' service here!)-- then went out to meet friends last night. Was going to have a light dinner with them, but ended up getting some sort of spicy chicken dish. Yumo... and some edamame, they put a chili salt on them-- deelish!!!
Was proud of myself getting into bed soon after midnight, however my phone rang twice in the middle of the night, once with an "unknown" at about 1.30 and then a friend of mine in FL at about 3.30!! I left her a delightful message this morning ;-)

B- cinnamon bun x2, coffee
L- turkey & cheese sandwich, sugar snap peas

You are SO lucky - you don't have to go back til Wed! I go back tomorrow and I am so jet lagged. I've been vegging out in front of the tv and laptop today and I HAD a to-do list a mile long...

Not a bad day.... though I had an inkling it would be another 'Mimosa Sunday' but K backed out of plans at the last minute. We had a couple of friends of ours break up on New Year's Eve/Day-- and so the guy is living at K's place at the moment. Guess they had a 'guy day' today. Funnily enough I did end up going out for a few drinks with the ex-girlfriend. I'm trying to be neutral..... it's hard cuz you want to to do the 'girls unite' thing... but truth is I've known him for years, her only since they started dating, a year ago....

B- cinnamon bun x2, coffee
L- 'supreme' pizza
S- sugar snap peas
D- turkey club sandwich, pasta salad (out)
*4 beers

Mon- 60min walk
Tues- 50min Yoga
Wed- nothing
Thur- nothing
Fri- nothing
Sat- 30min walk

The day wasn't as productive as I had planned on it being, but I did get some things crossed off the list- took Jack to the vet (got a clean bill of health and complimented on his shiny coat and bright eyes!)- did laundry, ran a few errands and met up with my friends ex for a bite to eat. Got into bed at a reasonable hour and set the alarm for this morning... not for the usual time, but something earlier than what I've been getting up at. It worked. Up nice and early today, and feeling good too =)

B- cereal, coffee
L- 'supreme' pizza
S- sugar snap peas
D- cheeseburger & fries (not the best of choices, I know!)
*4 beers

Mon- 15mins bike, 5min stretching
